How this site earns money

CarCamsOnline is free to read. When you click a link to a shop from this site and buy something, we may earn a commission from that shop. You pay the same price either way.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Links to Amazon on this site are affiliate links. Some links to other shops and to manufacturers may also be affiliate links.

We also show advertising through Google AdSense. Advertisers do not choose which products we recommend.

How we choose

No manufacturer pays to be ranked on this site, and no one sees a page before it is published.

Our recommendations compare published specifications, such as sensor, resolution, storage and parking modes, with the findings of independent testers and owner communities. Unless a page says we own a camera, we have not tested it ourselves, and we do not claim to have.

The camera we own and use is the Nextbase 522GW.

We do not print prices because they change daily. Every price link opens the live listing.
